I'd have to agree Joe Jackson seems like a good guess. I like a few of the post war RCs if youre looking for a value at current prices.

The 1914 CJ SGC 1.5 on eBay right now certainly is a good way for Shoeless Joe to start the year.

I don't own them anymore, so this is impartial. I think the beautiful, early Ruth Exhibits have so much room to grow. So criminally undervalued. I think they are among his most attractive cards, and are far more rare and early than the Goudeys.

With the surge of the Gehrig Exhibit and the rare postcards, I think that's changing. Cobb PCs are certainly booming (so much for impartiality). So I think it should follow that the Ruth's, though not nearly as rare as the more valuable Cobbs, should get the attention they deserve.

I think that '15 Cracker Jack Hof'ers are due to close the price gap with the '14's in 2018. For sure, there are the '15 factory sets which skew population reports plus scads of nrmt cards that have emerged over the years. Add in the fact they are arguably the most beautiful cards ever produced, people want them in the best condition possible and to hell with the history. And I think the '15 CJ's of Matty and Hal Chase are just plain gorgeous.

You may be right! Early Ruth exhibits could be had for less than 1K for most in nice shape maybe 2 years ago...now they'3-4 times more...these definitely have room to run. And I totally agree they are much rarer and imo desirable as compared to goudeys...most other ruth cards are to me!

And most cobb pc's are technically rookies so that kinda helps the valuations as compared to ruth. has an m101-3 appreciated much lately?

There's only one rookie Cobb...w601 PC IMO. Maybe the hobby will wake up to this card?

Just saw it. It's a shame I didn't pick one up when I first started looking. Great looking card for the grade.

This. Ridiculous prices. I don’t think I have ever seen a card rise in value this fast.
