The seller's statement, "I don't know if its a reprint or not" tells the whole story. Was it P.T. Barnum that said, "a fool and his money are soon parted," or was his line, "a sucker's born everyday!"

I thought eBay had a new rule that if you didn't know if it were original or not you had to list it clearly as a reprint?

The extra work done on the back, and posting a scan of the back, is good marketing, at least. It looks like some folds and creases were made in it, consistent with the ones in the front image, then who knows what (coffee, tea, brown tempera, dirt... ) was used to tone those. I like the back scan almost as much as the front.

It's a shame that a potential tobacco card collector might buy that, eventually figure out he was scammed, then quit the hobby altogether.
