Default "Sunny" Jim Bottomley postcard

I have this postcard of Jim Bottomley that measures 5" x 6 3/4" with a brown sepia tone. He played with St.Louis in 1936 and 1937. The back has an inscription to a Mr. Minor at the Standard Service Station in Bath, Illinois. Does anyone know if this was team-issued or part of another set? I am getting the autograph authenticated.

Are there postcard markings, or other factors, when you say this is a postcard?

There are no postcard markings, it appears to me to be a similar stock.

I collect quite a few postcards.

Yours is a photo, which there are probably exponentially more of than postcards. If it were a postcard it would have more of a chance of being identified. Still a nice item. Good luck in the hunt.

Thanks Leon, I am hoping the autograph is certified.
