Default 1928 George Ruth Candy blank backs?

Any info would be appreciated.

PSA pop reports show these differentiated the blank backs separately. All cards are pop of 1, except for one of them, which has a pop of 3. Are these really that tough to find? Is it possible the other cards were really blank backs but just weren't labeled as such? In the SGC pop reports, there is no differentiation of blank backs - but that could simply mean they are rare and SGC hasn't graded one yet.

Any info on these cards would be appreciated.
