Default Another Newly Discovered Cubs Pennant

It's been a terrific month. While there are several Cubs pennants I hope to add to my collection, finding a newly discovered piece is particularly exciting. Adding two in one month is unbelievable. This piece came to me courtesy of Rick Payne in Ohio (Oldtix). It is similar to the newly discovered Cubs pennant I posted recently, but the bears are more detailed and show real personality. The lettering has a slightly different shape and the baseball near the tip is a nice touch. Thanks Rick

Here is the other pennant for comparison.

Finding those two within the same month is simply insane... way to go, Mike!

If you frame either or both, be sure to post, and show us how they turn out. They're both eminently "frameworthy"

Default Cubs pennants

Beautiful pennants Mike. Are they oversized or 29 inches?

Thanks for the accolades fellas, but I couldn't have added either were it not for our fellow board members. This really is a wonderful community of collectors.

The pennants are 29". Regarding the framing...while they are both frame worthy, I don't have the room for more framed pennants without doing some major shifting. If I do frame them, I will post the results.

That's one of those unwritten rules of pennant/memorabilia collecting that no one tells you about at the outset: As soon as you get a wall/display/set of shelves looking just the way you want it, you'll acquire another terrific piece that requires you to dismantle what you've done and redo it.
