Default T3 Standard Size Cards?

Posted By: Sean BH

Am I on crazy pills or did T3's come in standard size?
This guy is auctioning off 7 of these and they measure 2.5" x 3.5" but he is sure they are from the 1909-1911 era.

Thanks,

Default T3 Standard Size Cards?

The reprint set I have is standard card size, 2.5 x 3.5. I bought mine from Larry Fritsch because I knew I could not afford the entire (real) T3 set. The reprints are not labeled as such simply because their size distinguishes them from the real thing. They have square corners and are about the same thickness as any cards of the last 25 years. At a quick glance, the backs come in several different formats, matching those found on real T3s.

Either this guy has made the discovery of the century and uncovered a previously unknown issue . . . or, someone has been spending an extrordinary amount of time aging some T3 reprints. Why Hoblitzell and not Cobb, I wonder?

The seller asked me what a cabinet card was...LOL. so I guess they don't know anything about these cards ( as usual).
watch them all sell for the price of a T3

Scammer, jnltreasure. Two weeks ago he sold ten bogus CJs for a total of $500. I tried but couldn't notify the buyer, 'alleycatwino' but was eBlocked. Perhaps he was a shill, but I doubt it. Lotsa new money out there and these buyers are absolutely clueless, as I once was.

Newbee Helpful Hobby Hint; If you see a name akin to i_buy_counterfeits in the bidders list, you may want to pass.
