Default 1936 World Wide Gum Prices

Was anyone watching the 1936 World Wide Gum cards in PWCC tonight? I thought the commons went relatively cheap? Like to get some thoughts on the prices overall?

World Wide Gums have always taken a back seat to US versions, price wise.

The stars in this set have seen a dramatic increase over the last few years. See what the DiMaggio and Greenberg did.

Didn't see the results, but seems consistent with the general tread (which seems to have increased in the last few years) of wider price gaps between star cards and commons within vintage sets, with commons remaining fairly stagnant or even reducing in price. Probably an indication that there are fewer set collectors out there, especially in less common/popular sets like this one.
