Default Revisitng the T206 "QUINTUPLICATE" backs sub-set

Acquired a very tough Billy Campbell with the BROAD LEAF 350 back....for my "trifecta".
Now all I need is his the DRUM card to complete my A-B-C-D back scenario.

Almost impossible would be to find Campbell's 1910 Coupon card for a "QUINTUPLICATE" sub-set of Campbell.

Collecting T206 Subjects with these 5 "identically" designed T-brand backs can be a real challenge for those who think
that they have "tamed" The Monster.

NOTE....the brighter sky on the BROAD LEAF card (due to spotty Red ink application).

Just another way guys and gals to collect T206's....any one willing to try this ?

Incidently....I know of only one Net54 member who has achieved a QUINTUPLICATE set of a T206 subject.

I have several of the A-B-C-D combos.

Default trifecta

congratulations on getting the Campbell Broadleaf, Ted!!
it is interesting to see the difference in the color of the sky--almost
made me hope to see a dove like the old days researching the Ritchey
sky.
many thanks for your most illuminative observations.

best,

barry

Here is the A-B-C-D scenario of one of my favorite T206 subjects....Frank Delahanty.
It took me 2 years to acquire these 4 cards. Unfortunately, I will not have a chance at the QUINTUPLICATE set,
since Frank is not in the 1910 COUPON issue.

I have never seen a Campbell with a DRUM back; and, no survey that I know of has him confirmed with DRUM.

But, I do know he was printed with a 1910 COUPON back.

One of these days, Ted, I will change my focus from a Red Sox type collection to a Red Sox T206 "master" collection....and I will blame it all on you.

Another interesting way to look at the Monster. Thanks for the post. I may try and attempt the A-B-C-D set of a Sox player. Time to do some research!

There are not many Red Sox guys in the T206 set. And, your choice of players to try for an A-B-C-D set
narrows down to two....Arellanes and Speaker.

Both of these Subjects have been confirmed with American Beauty - Broad Leaf - Cycle - Drum backs.

You'll enjoy tis challenge.

Just like the familiar lyrics say......
"You can check-out any time you like....but, you can never leave"

You've "tamed" the Monster....but, you can never stop collecting it !

For your next adventure, try putting together an A-B-C-D set of Moeller.
You already have the DRUM card of him....the AB and Cycle are not that tough.
But, the Broad Leaf will present a challenge to you. All these backs have been confirmed.

And, no need to concern yourself with the 1910 COUPON, since Moeller is not in that set.

Good luck Barry, if you accept this mission.

Default Looking for a blue Chase DRUM

Does anyone out there have this Chase with a DRUM back ?

And, would be willing to part with it, so I can complete my A-B-C-D sub-set of Chase ?
