I have not posted a pickup in a long time. Here is the start of my 2018!! An N172 Ralph Spud Johnson to complete my single pose Columbus set. I will post the whole thing in the coming days. Thanks to all the OJ collectors that have helped along the way and to the many phone calls and emails letting me know it was up for auction. As well as the seller that worked with me to make this happen.

Great cards Pete.
I decided that in 2018, I would branch out some from T206, but stay with items older than the great depression. So, my first 2018 pick ups are this E90-1 Speaker and this E101 Cy Young |

Been awhile since I got t post in this thread...feels good.
I got my first card today of 2018 and the second time I have owned this exact example which was difficult to replace. I HAD to trade it for something else and it found its way back to me and showed up today. 1907 FP Burke Detroit PC, one of Cobb's earlier images and I love the emblem in the background. It comes in both black and blue and I far prefer the tough black variation. Also, its unused with just a simple corner crease as it returns in to my top 10 favorite cards. |

I miss that E101 Young. It was in my collection over 10 years ago and I kick myself for parting with it back then. I'm glad someone ended up with it that appreciates it. Believe it or not, that was the very first vintage card I ever owned.

For some reason I can't see the card on your post, but very cool. Always fun when you see an old card turn up (usually on eBay, but not this one, it's staying with me)

1907 cabinet photo of the Detroit Tigers, image used for a number of postcards. Love how you can see the details of Cobb's spikes!
