Default Show us your Cobbs

I know that a lot of you crazy T206 freaks have all 4 Cobbs like me. It's time to whip them out.

Here are my flawed yet snazzy Cobbs. They are a nice, colorful bunch that didn't break the bank:

Putting Ty in center field allows him to sit atop this stylized baseball diamond display of the Tigers team.

My collection goal was met when I got my great granddad's t209
But getting a Cobb is what keeps me going...

If anyone has one that they are trying to move in order to upgrade....I might be interested.

Awesome cards in this thread!

Found these in a house I recently purchased, I'm still trying to figure out the names of the different cards that were found. I believe these are t227 & t206

There was a door in a closet in one of the upstairs bedrooms that opened into a storage area. It's kind of like an attic but not...lol
There were 27 w516 strip cards I believe 4 of them were boxers
86 t206 cards most of them had sweet caporal backs 2 had base ball gum John h. Dockman
1 American Carmel co
2 Piedmont backs
1 polar bear
3 different cards had gold borders
12 center pictures of I think they are Hassan triple fold, only 3 cards that I believe go to the triple fold cards but I haven't had time to go through center pictures
19 t227 cards all miners extra backs
43 t219 boxing pugilist cards 1 has Hassan back the rest are miners extra
39 miners extra heroes of history
3 miners extra men and women of history
45 miners extra men of history
104 American Carmel company e123 cards
This is the box they were in.

Nice find. Sounds like the gold border cards are T205. The Dockman cards are candy cards classified E92. And I am guessing the American Caramel cards are probably E90-1. We of course would love to see some more pictures of the cards.

Default T227z

Nice find Mase!

There are 24 known cards in the set, the miners extra backs are a little harder to find than the honest long cut backs. The two tough cards are not in your lot unfortunately. Bruce Brown (auto driver) and c.p. Rodgers (aviator).

Nice Cobby! You got it at a gr8 price!!!

I will try to start a new thread, I won't be able to add all the pics until tomorrow or Saturday. Here is a group pic of some that I've started to put into better hoders I think. I don't really know what I should put them in but these are better than just binder pages I put them in a few days after I found them I too a closer pic of the baseball cards

Bruce Brown (Auto Racer) is pretty rare. Not sure if that is the one you're thinking of.
