Ebay Reprint Category - Wha' Happened?

I was under the impression a reprint category for sports cards was going to be created. Did this get thrown under the bus along with the rest of Ebay?

They created a filter so that when you list a card you can specify it as Original or Reprint and people can then search using that filter, but as far as I know, there are no repercussions for listing a reprint as an original.
