Default Help with Hornsby photos needed

After the success with finding info on the Newsom and the Ruth pictures, now I humbly request help with Mr. Rogers Hornsby :

As many of you are aware, I have what could possibly be descrbed as an addition to the m113 & m114 Baseball Magazine posters, and am attempting to date their release dates. It's not always very obvious.

There are four Hornsby photos used for posters that I am aware of. The first is easy to date because it is pictured in the first m114 ads which began in December 1916. The other three are a bit more complicated.

I'm looking to find the year and the approximate date that each photo was taken, and/or the earliest uses on cards or in magazines or newspapers. This info could potentially narrow down which picture was used for which poster release.

The Standard Catalog lists the following releases of Hornsby posters :
1916
1920
1934
1951

There are ads in the magazine for Hornsby posters starting with these issues :
Dec 1916
Dec 1934
Sep 1951

I am missing lots of ads from the 1920s, so a fourth release date may be hidden in them, but there are a good number of posters that were not advertised, so that's a possibility, too.

Any information about the team and years of the uniforms would also be helpful. I assume that picture 'C' was taken in 1927, since that's the only year he played for the Giants.

Please feel free to ask any questions either here or via email.

Many thanks in advance to all who try to help,
Doug

PS - I am looking for scans of the poster ads from these issues of Baseball Magazine :
1909 Sept
1910 Jan
1911 May
1914 June
1918 Oct
1919 Jan, Feb, Mar, June, Sept, Nov, Dec
1920 all but June & July
1921 all but Jan, Jun & Aug
1922 Mar, Apr, June, July, Aug,Dec
1923 May, June, July, Nov, Dec
1924 all but Oct & Dec
1925 Jan, Mar, July
1926 Jan, Oct, Nov, Dec
1927 Jan, Mar
1928 Jan, Mar, Aug
1933 June

My guess on the Hornsbys...
A) Matches the Chicago Cubs 1928-32 style uniform
B) More than likely the STL Cardinals 1915-1917 or 1920 (could be Browns 1933, but I dunno Hornsby looks young)
C) 1927 NY Giants

Don't know if that helps or not, but hopefully someone else can chime in or even better find the exact photograph to give the precise year.

A bit more info on "C" from AP

"Second baseman Rogers Hornsby is shown on his first day of practice with the New York Giants at Sarasota, Fla., Feb. 28, 1927. He was traded by the St. Louis Cardinals to the Giants. (AP Photo)"

Not the exact photo but taken at the same time.

B. Not an expert on uniforms or magazine posters, but this photo was used in the 1933 Uncle Jacks set.

Brian (not my Rogers...the Uncle Jacks folks amazingly got his first name correct, unlike quite a few of his 'Roger' cards)
