Just went on ebay and the David Ortiz jersey that was dug out of the concrete at new Yankee stadium, and being sold with profits going to the Jimmy Fund, is over $25,000. WOW

Who wants it more - a Sox fan to treasure it as a testament to the act of sticking it to their rivals or a Yanks fan to burn it to piss off the Sox fans?

If this goes over big, maybe they should throw some more in the concrete.

Did the construction worker end up losing his job over this? If so, maybe the money should go towards keeping him off the street. He'll surely have a tough time living on the streets of New York after this.

On another note, when's the last time the yankee's won the series? I'm having trouble remembering.

So some Sox fan buries Ortiz's jersey below Yankee Stadium and now he's batting 0.121.

Too bad he didn't bury Manny's jersey too!

this was going to happen. Now you must be pre-approved to bid. Looks like a bunch of "0" feedback ebayers bid it up high. They should have known this would happen. Well, i hope they get that much for this shirt to help charity but it looks like a few bids will be knocked off.

here is link to shirt....http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=120248650648&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=002
