I have listed two T3's on Ebay which close tomorrow afternoon(Tinker and Lajoie). Prices are still low so please take a look. I would rather that someone on the Board get a bargain than someone I don't know.

As usual, I have read the following books and taken notes, in preparation for a VCBC article on pitching. I know...sounds boring.

Please go to the following web-site and left-click on the "Publications" button for item descriptions/photos. All are available EXCEPT the P&S Scorebook (too cool):

I have a dated (1910 I think) Spaulding glove at home if anyone is interested in it. Seems to me someone on the board collects equipment. It isn't a player's model, but I think its in fairly decent shape. Have had it for many years, have no idea what its worth, have no idea where I ever got it or what I paid, and really not my area of collecting interest.

If anyone has any questions, I can take a look at it when i get home. I was just sitting here thinking what I had laying around and it came to mind.

As always....looking for type cards, maybe someone can come up with a trade? Keith

I'll get to the wanted list (which changes very little) later.

I have a new Ebay moniker "misunderestimated" and have listed some T205s including COBB & Chase (1 ear). I will be listing some more T205s as well as some T202s in the near future and some '14 CJs.

Here's my link:

Always an active buyer of quality large collections and archives of 20th century celebrity original photographs. Subjects include sports, fashion, movies, science, artists, etc. Types include studio, news service, negatives, transparencies, snapshots, etc etc.

For an example of the variety of photos I look for, view

I'm also looking for and will pay top dollar for quality Gia Carangi original memorabilia, photographs and other. (As this is a baseball board, I note that I think she was a Phillies fan).

I am offering a T202 Hassan pack and card for sale. The Hassan slider box is the baseball score card variety. Outer shell grades g-vg; inner scorecard shell grades ex. The box has a 1910 tax stamp with a July 29, 1912 factory 649 imprint. The card is Ball and Stovall with Close At First in the center panel and grades vg for a tobacco stain on the back of Ball and some spotting elsewhere, but presents a lot nicer due to sharp corners. The color registration is off slightly on the end panels. Hassan 649 black back. Also, can anyone tell me for sure: the Tiger sliding into first looks a heck of a lot like Ty Cobb. Is it?

Anyway, the item is available until 12/15 when I will list it on ebay, but I would prefer to trade it for a T206 Tinker portrait in vg or better condition. Can anyone help me out on this one. Scan on request.

Please reply to warshawlaw@aol.com

Thanks.

This thread really works - I sold ALL of the 19th century publications I advertised less than a week ago. I just added 25 items to ebay, using the BIN penny sale they're running. Yes, it's basically a fire sale - some of my favorite items are currently on ebay with more to come.

Hi all,

In addition to the 4 card N172 lot, I've recently listed a lesser grade 2 card T206 lot with a Hugh Jennings, Detroit (one hand, Old Mill back) and Knight, N.Y. (Polar Bear back. 29.99 to start with a 49.99 BIN. May be listing a few more items over the next week, including another 1 or 2 N172's. So please check back. The link for this eBay auction is below.

I have several hundred T206's for sale. Most are commons, but many have uncommon backs. I have over 100 Cycle backs and another 200-250 Sovereign backs. Interested parties should email with wantlists. Thanks, Dave Seaborn (Oldorioles@aol.com)
