Never cared much for the Wagner/Tinker E91, and that is a crazy price. I just sold one to a board member for about half that price not too long ago.

I actually have the complete set and bought the Wagner in SGC 60 from Barry. However, for a very low-grade, "generic" card of Wagner, I am stunned.

it IS 1910! even though it isn't anything like Wagner. Guys with deep pockets, that can afford anything(I mean ANYTHING) want it....so, that is the marketplace...that is what is acceptable/normal. How high is high...I often ask myself. Happy holidays!

Was the card bought by somebody with deep pockets or by someone who is relatively new to vintage cards and thought he was buying something a little more substantial than it actually is? Many people on ebay do not have a lot of buying experience.
