So how is it related to this card as opposed to the Four-on-Ones?

Try the link below. Read the two or three paragraphs under the Mickey Cochrane card.

They are fairly scarce, I call them W517-2 or W517 Mini

Sell for around $40-50 ea. or so in that condition.

They are uncataloged as far as showing a checklist and values,

Here is the complete checklist of 16, maybe Don Fluckinger can add them to the 2009 SCD.

Cochrane
Collins
Critz
Donahue
Gehrig
Grove
Jackson
Judge
Kamm
Kelly
Klein
Miller
O'Doul
Shire
Vance
P.Waner

Edited to say I see Brad added my page above

I noticed two of the cards that I have, have a bluish hue while the other looks to be black and white. Is one color variation more scarce than the other?

The dark red one IMO is the toughest color, many think its cut from the postcard, but I have seen one that looks to have dotted lines on the bottom edge.

I believe Brad still has a Grove in this Dark Red color.

If you try to search old posts there are many with info about these cards.

PS. Here is a link to a nice page with some rare stuff pictured including the Dark Red W517-2 with the dotted line at the bottom
