Default Washington Senators - Griffith Stadium ticket stub question

Posted By: Jaison Vig

Hi. I've had a couple of Senators stubs laying around for years that I have no clue what year that they are from. From a bit of research I've gathered that they are from the thirties or forties. Unfortunately I can't post a pic right now but I'll give a brief description. Across the top it says American League Baseball Club. Right underneath that it says Washington D.C.All of that is in white writing on a black background. Right underneath that is Clark Griffith Stadium written in black. All three of those lines are in a box. Under that on the left is a black box that has rain check info and the Clark Griffith signature. To the right is a large number 22 , which I assume to be the game number. Under that is a six digit number (on these the numbers are 107944 and 107945). Lastly the best bit of information on the right edge is the ticket price. These are Grand Stand tickets and the price is $1.25. I tried to find old Senators ticket prices but had no luck. Anyways I doubt that these are from any game of significance but I'd like to try and find out for sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
