I will be at the LOTG booth with a nice inventory of boxing postcards plus a few other oddsnends, and copies of my Exhibit book if the publisher gets them to me on time. If anyone wants anything from my eBay store please PM me and I will bring it. And knock off 10% of the price.

Hey, Jason, I don't want to mindlessly volunteer you (guess it's too late to unring that bell), but since you are the OP, how about adding a list to the end of your original post showing who/what will be at each booth as people respond to the thread? A running, organized tally of net54 members in one place would be a handy tool for anyone going this year.

The Love of the Game booth is booth #1633/1732 near the corporate area. We'll be accepting consignments for our fall auction and displaying material from our Summer auction (which will be open for bidding). We should also have some catalogs available.

Each night after the show, we'll be in the bar, arguing about baseball.

Robert Edward Auctions will be at booths 1425 and 1429 all week. We will have some jaw-dropping items on display from our upcoming fall auction, including many from two recently consigned collections that we've yet to unveil.

We'll be accepting consignments for this blockbuster auction (deadline August 5), offering cash advances and special National incentives to consignors, and generally looking forward to meeting and greeting our great clients all week. And, we'll definitely have catalogs available from each of the last several auctions that we're happy to give away for free to anyone interested while supplies last.

I’m sure all sellers take proper precautions but just encase I hope all dealers will be watching their material and not get distracted for this years National. It’s saddens me to hear from a few dealers this past weekend that several dealers had stuff stolen off their tables, it’s terrible but this happens. Please be aware that thief’s like this usually work in teams using diversion/distraction techniques. Please look out for each other and report to security or police if you see or catch a crook.

Hi all,

I (David) will be at booth 1324 (I'm DP Sports Cards, but I'm sharing space with a few others). I've got nothing but vintage baseball, mostly low end, with $.50, $1, $2, $3, and $5 boxes in addition to cards priced as marked. I offer bulk discounts as posted on my signs at the show, but will also over a 5% discount over $50 and a 10% discount over $100 to Net54 and OBC members, on top of the posted discounts. Plenty of deals to be had.

Please stop by and say hello - I love to meet folks from Net54!

Cleveland is not as bad as Chicago for thieves except when the gangs of thieves from Chicago come down for their fun. I've seen them in Cleveland, but they are based in Chicago. You are correct, they work in teams and I've lost some stuff. The more eyes you have on your inventory the better. Never leave it unattended and don't assume that all the vendors are above lifting stuff, because they are not.

Default Andy Sandler at National www.AllSportsAuctions.com

Hi Everyone,

I will be at the National in Cleveland but I won't have a table. As always, though, I will be wearing my San Francisco Giants cap and buying, selling, trading, and picking up consignments for my auctions at
www.AllSportsAuctions.com
I have attended all the Nationals since 1980 but a handful.

I also will be looking to add to my collection of pre-1930 Pacific Coast League and California League baseball items, as well as, anything pre-1945 Pro basketball. I am also looking for game used jerseys from all pro sports that are pre-1972 for my collection. What do you have? I will also trade. I have an extensive collection of all facets of the hobby, and having been active in it since 1973 know where to get whatever you collect.

Please don't hesitate to say hello and introduce yourself, anytime. I am semi-retired now but just as active as always in the hobby.

Thank you, Andy Sandler andy@allsportsauctions.com

I will be at Booth #1025 displaying items for my upcoming Sept/Oct. auction and taking consignments in person, for those that don't like to ship their treasured cards.

Please stop by and talk about any potential consignments or just to say hi!

And of course my sidekick Richard will be there with me, so there will be plenty of eye candy as well.

Not really a dealer but I will be walking around wearing my COMC shirt and talking the hobby (and COMC) to you all if you so desire. COMC does have a corporate booth to learn about the system and drop off your cards.

See you in a week or so!

This thread will be stickied at the top of the section around Tues-Wed of next week so anyone can come back here and quickly find a dealer table that is listed.

Default Mike Peich, Chris Bland, and Tim Newcomb - Table 1304

Mike, Chris, and I, again selling as LUTFA Cards, will be there with a wide variety of prewar vintage. We look forward to seeing many of you there - come by and identify yourselves.

-Chris will have great HOF cards from a variety of sets, nearly all graded. He also has over 100 graded T206 commons and stars.

-Mike will have oodles of T206s and smaller but substantial groupings from several other sets.

-Tim will have his usual small groupings in a vast variety of sets, ideal for the type collector. I'll be breaking up a near-set of T201s. Also lower-grade 1933 Goudeys and Batter-Ups.

Default Just Collect booth 532

Just Collect will be set up at booth 532. We are buying vintage cards, sets, PSA & SGC graded cards, and unopened packs/boxes. We will have cards for sale from $1 to $50,000 at our booth including T206's, a 1952 Topps Set, hundreds of vintage graded cards, sets, etc (although I just realized we left all of our Kashin's in the office with 3 Ruth's!).

Hope to see everyone there!
Leighton

PS-we are opening a 1955 Bowman Baseball Cello Pack on Friday at 3:30pm on the Great American Collectibles show with Tom and Rico on the Center Stage at the National...you can watch it on www.youtube.com/vintagebreaks if you can't make the show.

Not sure if this is the best place to ask this, and I apologize if it's not, but how are the dealers with credit card/PayPal/PayPal Credit (especially if the buyer covers any fees)?

Default Booth 336 -- Mid to High End Graded Ruths, Gehrigs, Cobbs

I have a couple cases at Booth 336 filled with Goudey Ruths and Gehrigs, T206 Cobbs, 50's Mantles, T206 and E90-1 Cy Youngs, etc. For PC collectors, I have a Max Stein Wagner in a SGC 3 holder. All cards are graded by SGC and PSA, with eye appeal the priority.

Default National report

The show is off to a great start. Plenty of collectors and nice to see the net54 members that stopped to say hello. Nice to put a face to a name. For me, Cracker Jacks are hot, t206, Goudey Ruth ( I sold 2). T206 Cobbs, the reds are picking up, exhibit Ruth's and Gehrigs (Rainer Bought a Cobb and Ruth from me, he also sold me some nice 1914 CJ's-- I was lucky to buy 2 Pratts., Steve is great to talk with. Also had a lot of interest in Mantle cards ( especially the 51 bowman Mickey. Hope to see more 54 members this week. Don

Anyone at the show should check out the guys at LUFTA cards. They have the fairest prices I saw at the show and a great selection. Plus they are pretty cool to talk to as well

Nice talking with Larry Dean and a few other dealers. Engaging dealers are great. Walked away from a few tables and cards as I got the cold shoulder. Always tomorrow!

Don’s booth is one of the better in the show in my opinion. Quality cards, reasonably priced, and a nice dude who actually engages with you. I can’t tell you how many dealers go out of their way to ignore you. Not the case here.
