Default Negro League Auto Help...

Anyone know how easy/difficult/impossible to find are the following autos...

Oscar Charleston, Josh Gibson, Mule Suttles, Turkey Stearnes, and Rube Foster.

Thanks for any help!

Don't know how much is too much, but Stearnes is the only one relatively affordable ~700-1400 maybe?

Charleston , Foster and Gibson are very very rare and beware of forgeries on them .
Suttles has fewer than any of the ones you mention . He is in the ultra rare category.
Stearnes is relatively easy to find and is affordable.

Thanks for the info.

I figured a few of them were nearly impossible, but didn't realize that it was the majority of them.

I guess it makes it easier now - Anyone got a Stearnes auto on a 3x5?

I know of one signed Charleston endorses check in the market for around $20k. There is Stearnes coming up in a auction. Christie’s sold a Foster around 3 years ago. Never have seen a Suttles for sale, the Manley archives have three nice examples.

I bought three Charleston's in the Rickwood Field ledgers find. There were quite a few others that I missed out on. That find likely doubled the amount of know Charleston autographs.

Two I sold privately and one went to Love of the Game auctions.
