Bob guessed $907 and came the closest without topping it. Congratulations. I will get the N284 Morrill out to you and Leon will take care of his end.

Richard Masson came closest, but was $1 too high!

Attention. Here's an update on tonight's dinner. It was veal. I repeat, veal. The winner of tonight's mystery meat contest is Bob Shannon who guessed "some kind of beef."

$1 to Meatballs

I would recommend for future contests, that the rule, "without going over" be eliminated, and just have the winner be the closest to the correct bid, period. That would prevent someone from slamming the door on someone else's guess by guessing one cent higher. This is what happened to me!!!

P.S. Congrats to Bob.

The reason I did that is to not have a potential tie. Next time we can say the closest one to it, regardless of going over or not...and in the event of a tie it will go to the person that guessed first out of the tied people.....I am always open to suggestions or other ideas...these seem to work pretty well though.....

In tribute to Bob Barker, we should commend those who claimed to have "watched Price is Right", for they must be fully aware of the commonplace strategy displayed thereon.
