Default New member introduction

Greetings to all!

We would just like to announce our joining of this extremely knowledgeable and entertaining site, and share a little about our history...

Classic Auctions was started almost 25 years ago by our founder and president Marc Juteau, with the goal of focusing on bringing the world's greatest hockey treasures to auction including the paramount 1972 Summit Series Paul Henderson Team Canada jersey, worn while scoring the most important goal in history, which realized $1.275 million (including buyers premium). We have featured the private collections of many noteworthy Hall of Fame players over the years including Maurice “Rocket” Richard, Bobby Hull, Howie Morenz, Toe Blake, Jean Beliveau, Henri Richard, Guy Lafleur, Frank Mahovlich, Jacques Plante, Johnny Bucyk, Yvan Cournoyer, Guy Lapointe, Marcel Dionne, Brad Park, Gilbert Perreault, Darryl Sittler, Gump Worsley, Brett Hull and many others.
Our latest offering of just over 1000 lots, the Winter 2017 Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction which is currently running and closing on March 7th, features the personal collection of HOF superstar Eric Lindros. A number of baseball items are present along with other sports including F1 racing, highlighted by a Babe Ruth 1919-22 game-used R2 (40BR) H&B Louisville Slugger professional model bat with PSA/DNA and Mears letters - factory side written (LOT 498). We also have a gorgeous high-grade Ruth single-signed ball with PSA/DNA and JSA LOAs (LOT 499) along with multi-signed Harridge AL ball featuring Ruth, Johnson, Speaker, Collins, Baker, Simmons, Sisler, Dickey and Lefty Grove, also with JSA documentation (LOT 500).

It is our hope and desire to contribute to this impressive membership, with hockey knowledge of course being our main area of expertise.

Please visit our website at www.classicauctions.net to register and bid, or call (450) 638-7058 if you'd like to purchase a catalog or consign items.
....AND PLEASE WATCH FOR OUR FORTHCOMING ADVERTISING BANNERS!!
Thank you to all that took the time to read our introduction, and we look forward to a prosperous relationship with Leon Luckey and all of you knowledgeable collectors. Enjoy your day collecting!!

Same here. Have picked up some terrific hockey items from Classic over the years. Their catalogs are a pleasure to peruse. Speaking of which the latest effort arrived in today's mail.
