I acquired this neat BB litho. (adv.) piece in an Antique shop in Jersey. Just wondering
if any one here can identify "The G. A. T. Co." moniker ?

It measures 5 in. by 3 1/2 in.

It's one of four trade cards from a set made by Bufford Lithos. It is one of the better made trade cards as the art work is particularly well executed.

seems to be:

The Great American Tea Company, importers, coffee roasters and manufacturers, 31 & 33 Vesey Street, New York, N.Y.

...but maybe not. The Great American Tea Company was the precursor to the Great American & Pacific Tea Company (aka A&P)...the "merger" took place in 1869...'hmmm

On the cover of Frank Keetz's Trade Card guide there's also a Great American Importing Tea Co.
