Default OT: Help indentifying a Yankee

My friend sent me a picture of her brother shaking the hand of a NY Yankee. She asked me to identify the player. I didn't recognize him but I am sure someone here would be able to.
She thinks the picture was taken around 1956.

I don't think it looks like Boyer. He joined Yankees in 59 but she could have given me the wrong year.

I would never have gotten that one. It matches other photos of him. I am convinced that it's Kucks.
