Funny, I've never run across graded cards in any attic before.

Spelling "Yastrzemski" correctly without needing to look it up since the 1980s.

Overpaying yesterday is simply underpaying tomorrow.

I was obviously being a bit facetious.

The serial numbers appearing to be nearly consecutive supports this thought.

Holy cow...does the term "left nut" and "give" sound about right?

Those are some clean cards...and agreed...that is under priced in reality. Who would use a small time ebay consigner for this?

My initial thought is he must be eager to sell, because for a grouping like that, he'd do much, much better to sell them individually I think. That Mantle would do gangbusters, and I personally would be all over the '52 Mathews.

Wow!!! I live close by to this ebay seller. He's also has some other pretty impressive cards for sale. I know BMW Sportscards is in Madison, WI, but I've never heard of quality*cards.

There is a card store in Verona, WI. I've talked with the owner before and he's told me that he has/had a large number of 52 highs and sales of them over the years have helped to finance his brick and mortar store. I'm wondering if this is the source. Just speculation.
