Need the help identifying this card

I'm trying to figure out the brand and year of this card. Any help would be appreciated!!!

some menko...japanese issue perhaps?

Tetsuharu Kawakami, "The God of Batting." A Japanese HOFer played for the Yomiuri Giants from 1938 to 1958. .313 lifetime batting average. He was also manager of the club when they won nine consecutive Japan Series from 1965 to 1973.

From Gary Engel's book this would be from the 1950 Kagome "Flying Bat" set (JCM 5).
