Have you spoken to the guys at probstein to let them know? They may need to know about all of the different forgeries out there so they can avoid them.

He recently sold one for $157.50.

Adam, Probstein123 (Rick) has never responded to my emails over the years when I inform him of a forgery in his listings.

He sold one of these a couple of years ago.

Default Johnny Unitas 2001 Upper Deck Legends Ebay seller Tntnorthnj Lyonhrt7777

Same sellers as the Jeter and Koufax cards.

Just like the Koufax cards that came out of the 2000 SP Authentic product, which was a tough pull, same with the Johnny Unitas 2001 Upper Deck Legends card.

I had heard that Upper Deck is not really concerned with the fake autograph side of it with these cards but the fact that someone (maybe in China) is replicating the whole card selling them wholesale to buyers in the USA with the hologram on it. And that may be what brings the Feds into this...

I already know that Upper Deck doesn't give a hoot, but I am hoping that we can trace the source of the counterfeit cards via certain means.

A member here told me that another member here on Net54 says "That Tntnorthnj is a good guy."

If that's the case, maybe that member can communicate with Tntnorthnj and I am sure he will absolutely want to assist the hobby in locating the source of these counterfeit cards.

Most likely afraid they'll get caught again.

These cards each probably average around $100 each - Koufax, Kobe, Jeter, Unitas, Harper, etc. what’s the difference between printing the fake card and printing a $100 bill? Looks to me like it’s the same thing.

I agree!!!!

One of those sellers, in my opinion, must know the source of those cards.

Default Ebay seller Tntnorthnj Derek Jeter Forged Counterfeit 1995 UD Card

Ebay seller Tntnorthnj sold more than a few of the below-style Derek Jeter forgery on one of those 1995 Upper Deck counterfeit cards.

Observe the raised "R" in "Jeter" on the front of the card.

Evidently TNTNorthnj doesn't know autographs.

Look at this train wreck listed by them.

Default Sandy Koufax Forged/Counterfeit 2000 SP Authentic Blog

I just posted a blog on the Sandy Koufax Forged/Counterfeit "2000 SP Authentic" cards.

No coincidence that the all of the Ebay sellers (primarily TNTNorthNJ and Lyonhrt7777) of the forged/counterfeit cards stopped listing them after I posted my blog on the Jeter counterfeit/forged cards.

Great effort Chris. The forger really had a problem with the letter 'R' - it's lower on 'Derek'.

It looks like a one-run card printing, as they never corrected their problems.

Thank you, Scott.

As someone who knows Derek's autograph, those are all train wrecks.

The forger(s) penned multiple forgery styles.
