Default Commemorative Bats

Had these bats for a while now and was looking for more info on them. I have seen some bats that were given to players, but the first one I have was for the 1970 All-Star game with the name Danny Cantrell, anyone know who he is or was?

Second one has no name on it and was for the 1976 All Star game. Since it has no name, were these available for purchase by fans, or were they only given out to say VIPs?

This board is so helpful that hoping someone can shed some light for me. Thanks in advance.

If genuine, safe to assume they were given to a MLB employee or VIP. Though longtime season ticket holders sometimes got special gifts. Though I guess you could call a longtime season ticket holder a VIP. Clearly, finding out who was this Danny Cantrell will it up.
