Default T205 - Which would you keep for your collection?

This is why I am a little frustrated with my abilities at upgrading. Not much of an upgrade . That said which would you keep for your collection? They are both encapsulated as ex and ex+ but that is all I will say on that because this is about the cards and not a TPG. I look forward to my decision on which to keep.

Which would you keep?

this is probably a trick question (somehow), but I would probably keep the second of the two.

Hi Leon,

I like the one on the right with the better registration.

No, no trick question. I just have a small stack of upgrades I have bought which ended up not being upgrades. So I thought I would have fun with this one. I don't like the chipping on the one on the left right as it's next to his head. But I am leaning towards it. Again, just want to get a few thoughts.

Edited to add, I guess I will keep the one on the right....easy question, sorry about the intrusion...but not much of an upgrade to me...

If you are looking to move any of your sloppy seconds, send me pictures and prices. As an example, I could use a Schlei . Thanks...Matt

I would keep the one on the right also. The crease on the top corner isn't as bad as the chipping on the card on the left. It also looks like so far it has not had as many baths as the one on the left.

Wasn't the one on the left owned by the player himself? 🙂

The right looks trimmed. I would keep the one on the left.

I'll be the contrarian and keep the one the left. I'm fine with more corner wear on a 100+ year old card, that's how it should look. When I look at those two, my eyes go directly to the spots on the lower right of the second card...big distraction.

Funny even with an old set (and I'm a T205 nut) my eye still goes to corners first so definitely the one on the right for me.

This was my first thought too.

The one on the left seems to be graded by PSA, the one on the right by SGC. SGC always does a better job. Keep that one.

The right by far. Corners edges and color better on the right. Was this a trick question?

I voted for the one on the right but also feel that maybe it could be trimmed on the bottom.

I'd probably opt for the one on the left. I like the colors on the one on the right but its corners and edges are concerning to me. It could just be the way the card sits in the holder, but the angles don't look natural to my eye.

i like the color and registration of the one on the right better, but something about it makes it look trimmed. Edges appear strangely sharp. Maybe my mind is playing tricks on me.

I'm so addicted to backs....if the backs are different I would keep both. If they are the same, LOL. I might still keep both !!!!
