Some more "goodies" acquired at the Philly Show last week. Two T213's.....two T205's....two mis-cut T206's.
It's amazing what you can find at the Reading show if you just check-out every booth with vintage stuff and
do some searching.

I've been wanting one of these for a while now (definately one of the really tough E121 -like backs to find.)

I just love this piece. I don't think I knew how big it would be until I got it, and it is so neat to check out each of the players. A great deal from our own BST from Jeff P. Thx.

And to "the real DK" , I am definitely going to find time soon to haul out one other card of each guy in the picture to compare what they look like! I was trying to decide how hard it would be to lay out a different card of each person, but arranged in the order of this seating, and have it next to it. Sort of like a collage or something. Maybe I'll fuss with something like that some day.

Somewhat, my 1948 to modern are mostly rookies. When it comes to prewar I'm working on a card from as many different sets of HOFers.

I can't wait for this Hugh "Kid" Smith 1912 zeenut to arrive after being traded from the West Coast. It will fit in well with his 1911 zeenut and 1912 Home Run Kisses cards.

Nice M131....those are found in rough shape many times.....You won't ever have a problem when you go to sell cards like that....not that you will ever sell it

I felt the same way when I had gotten mine .Didnt expect it so big ,reference different Tiger pics to the players, sort of an individual ambience of a pre war item to have extra fun with.

Glad you have the same feeling.

I picked these two cards up for my HOF collection. I purchased both from the recent Mile High auction. My first Old Judge and my first N300. The O'Rourke is only an SGC 20 but it presents much better. I think the image is quite bold. The back has paper loss but that doesn't bother me! Also, Duffy has quite the hair style.

Joe, that one is a beauty. You sell off one of your Old Tom Morrises and I expect that 50 to become a 70.

Nice HOF pickups, Ben! My very first 19th century card was a Mayo Hugh Duffy.

My first group purchase of T206's, which gives me 25 different cards in the set. The Sheckard is my 8th Cub. My first mini goal in the set is to get all of the Cubs.

I have wanted this card for a while!

Although it doesn't quite have the pricetag of others.... I have to say this becomes one of my favorite Wagner cards in my collection - - maybe even my favorite. For tonight.... it for sure is my favorite. (Yes it is one of those pickups that I am excited about - please excuse my enthusiasm.)
