Default 1943 vs 1949 M.P & Co

Excuse my ignorance but how do I tell the difference between a 1943 and 1947 Boudreau M.P. & Co and for that matter any other players. Thanks

Cards in the 1949 (not 1947) set are numbered on back (Boudreau is No. 100). Cards in the 1943 set have M.P. & Co. N.Y.C. at the bottom of the backs.
R302s also were reissued between these dates without the M.P. & Co. trademark, without team designations and with shortened biographies.

Great info. Here are a few I used to own, neat little cards when almost no others were made.
Not sure why this Dimaggio doesn't have the mfg on back. Maybe it was cut short or something...

Thanks again.

Default 1943 M. & P. Co.

Original 1943 M.P. & Co. uncut 8-card strip. These cards were handed out at Candy stores in this strip form.

Here's are half-strip enlargements of these cards...…..

Leon,
Your DiMaggio is from the uncataloged reissue of the R302-1 set sometime between 1943 and 1949.
