Default How Many Teams Are Depicted In The Old Judge Set?

Posted By: Lee Behrens

I am curious how many teams are depicted in the OJ set and what the teams are? Maybe even the league they were associated with.

Thanks

Lee

I told Lee that I would have to kill him if I told him the answer, so I just beat him up instead for asking a question that could get him killed.

Jay

I like to sit outside drink beer and yell at people. If I did this at home I would be arrested, so I go to baseball games and fit right in.

He would only be in trouble if he asked how hard certain teams were, then we(meaning OJ collectors as a group) would have to charge him as a spy of some kind. There is a jail for people who got too nosey or gave out OJ secrets.Chances are people who havent been heard from recently and youre wondering where they are.....thats where they are.

Pretty poor (because of the focus)--one of the OJ subjects who's common in the minor leagues, and rare in the majors. And very expensive.

Apparently the focus was bad on all of the "Rusie batting" OJ's:

Julie despite their poor play,Indianapolis wasnt a minor league at the time, the Hoosiers were actually a major league team just like Ny for whom Rusie is also pictured with.

Depending on when that picture for his Indianapolis card was actually taken, Rusie was only 17 or 18 at the time.He was also the only pitcher to have a winning record that year for the Hoosiers

Yep.

In 1889, Indianapolis finished 7th in the National League.

Only Washington finished lower:
