Default 1961 Post Baseball

I just started collecting this set but I don't know much about it, I do know their are box cards and company cards. Are all cards available as box cards ? I seem to recall that some cards are only available as company cards (perforated) Are there short prints in the set ? and if so what numbers ?
Thanks, JT

There are way too many of them to list. I don't know how to paste it here, but if you go to KeyManCollectibles.Com, they have a very detailed checklist for 1963 Post listing all of the variations and the cards that were only available from the cereal boxes or from the company sheets that you had to send off for.

Any of the Post cereal sets are fun to build....I recently finished the 61 Post set(200 different players). I have about 115 of the 160 company cards in addition to the corresponding "box" card from the set. In addition to the company cards, there are a number of "box" cards with slight pose variations....these pose variations are due to what product the card was originally included with. Some collectors work towards finding all of the versions of each card.

There are 160 "company cards" (10 from each team) and just off the top of my head, there are several cards that were not "box " cards, but company only cards: 73 Estrada, 94 Stobbs, 106 Mathews. There are multiple non-star players that are SPs and command a premium. Some of the tougher "box" cards I found include the 23 Bob Shaw, 93 Lemon, 146 Kirkland, 163 Roach, 183 McMillian, and 193 Thomas.

Good luck with this set.
