Here's 10 of the dozens of cards I wished I had:

1. Billiken Oscar Charleston
2. Aguilitas Pop Lloyd
3. Mallorquina Willie Foster
4. Zeenuts Jimmy Claxton
5. Toleteros Josh Gibson
6. Sporting News Ray Chapman (This one I can get!)

I'm leaving a LOT of stuff out here. A LOT. One problem with this hobby...the more you have, the more you want. Man, I left off Bid McPhee and the Just So Delahanty and on and on and on...

Default Top 10 Cards You WAnt

Jay, there was a Voskamps Booe on ebay a few weeks back. It was rough but it went pretty low, under $300. I was pretty disappointed in myself for not bidding, I need him for my set as well.

Though I will may never own any of these here is my list:

1.1913 Voskamp's Wagner
2.N690 Ewing or Ward, a common would work too Outbid on an Andrews last week
3.Kalamazoo Bats team cabinet with black mount of Philadelphia
4.N304 Ward
5.1888 Joseph Hall team cabinet of New York
6.1912 H813-Any
7. E300 Wagner

Any of those would make me a happy camper.

Edited to add that the M101-4 set is from 1916. Also, Chad, what is this Just so Tobacco Delehanty you speak of ?

There are cards that I want that I will never own, like a T206 Wagner, and all the other $100k cards I could list. Here are the top 9 cards that I will aquire 1 at a time in the near future. These will round out some sets and I figure I will own all of these in the next 2 years, save for the last one. That will be a goal I hope to reach some day. Here are my top 9 in order I hope to aquire them in.

T206 Johnson Portrait SGC 30 or better
T206 Cy Young Portrait SGC 30 or better
T206 Mathewson Portrait SGC 30 or better(see a pattern here?)
1963 Fleer Football Len Dawson Rookie PSA 7 or better
1963 Fleer Football Lance Alworth Rookie Psa 7 or better
1961 Topps Mickey Mantle #300 Psa 7 or better
T206 Ty Cobb Green Portrait SGC 30 or better
1963 Fleer Football Bouniconti Rookie PSA 8

and the card Ihope ( but prolly will never be able to afford )
1952 #311 Mickey Mantle in presentable condition

I have just about enough in my card fund now to buy 1 of the first 3 portaits. I'm just waiting for the right one to come along. Joe

There's more than 10 cards i would like, but heres some of them. Not in any order :

e107 Waddell, Plank, McGinnity, Joss, Mathewson
e94 Wagner, Young
e97 Keeler
n172 Delahanty ( any kind )

And basically any E card of Cobb and Wagner.

If I hada t206 Wagner, i'd be so worried about something happening to it, i'd be better off not owning one lol.

7 T210-6 Goostree leaning on bat

8 T210-6 Whitaker

Those 4 series 6 cards will complete my hunt for the Bluegrass League boys.

9 1933 Goudey Lajoie

10 1915 Zeenut McMullen

I have satisfied myself that there is no need for the "Doyle" card, nor should the green white border Cobb card with a Cobb back be considered part of T206. So these are my "ten".

Sometimes I think that we too often in life spend time thinking about what we "want" or "need"... If we were to list 5 things we "want", and then look at the list, how many of us would have listed something that we already have? I truly want some of the things I already have, even more than some of these cards... Now let me have an 11th, a Harry Wright N173 Old Judge cabinet card.

Good thinking on that T208 Plank... that would be one fine card!

No one has mentioned a T200 premium...

Frank.

It would be simple to list the ten most expensive cards out there, but these are the ones that sing the Siren song for me.
1. 1938 Goudey Joe D #250 PSA 8 and clean.
2. 1936 World Wide Gum Joe D, the "Deadpan Joe" one.
3. Brunner's Bread Ty Cobb
4. 1933 Goudey Yellow Ruth PSA 8
5. 1914 Cracker Jack Matty Horizontal
6. 1932 U S Caramel Ruth PSA 8
7. 1932 U S Caramel Gehrig PSA 8
8. 1939 Play Ball Teddy Ballgame PSA 9
9. 1941 Play Ball Splinter PSA 9
10. 1915 Cracker Jack Joe Jackson PSA 8

Do I have to stop at Ten?

No real order -- this is actually almost a wanted list (except for a few that are a bit price-prohibitive at the moment):
1. 1936 WW Gum Joe Mccarthy (most frustrating card right now, I used to have a nice one that was stolen)
2-3. T205: Hoblitzel no stats/Wilhelm ("suffered")all my set lacks.
4. 1920's Cuban Oscar Charleston & most of the other Negro League players who were just inducted (long overdue, I think)who "have cards" from during their careers.
5. National Game/Tom Barker (I forget which one) 1913 GC Alexander (in a high grade)
6. "Cabinet" card circa 1870's w/Candy Cummings
7. "Cabinet" card circa 1890's-1900's w/Frank Selee (Cubs or Boston NL)
8. This one is a bit extravagant for now: Peck & Snyder (SP?)cabinet ("1st card")
9-10. Toletoros (SP?)Leon Day + Hilton Smith
------
Honorable mention: OJ Pete Browning
(if anyone can help please email me: bhodes@rcn.com)
