Why would anyone have their vintage commons graded by BVG when it costs $11/card at best (i.e., 100+ submissions) and you do not get the same increased value as a card graded by PSA/SGC or even GAI.

This might explain why there are so few T206 cards graded by BVG on ebay right now.

I think it has less to do with price and much more to do with trust.

After seeing BVG graded cards I am confident that they are equal in quality overall with the other three. Being the new kid on the block as well as having tight standards is what hurts Beckett.

I like SGC because you can negotiate price with them for a large group of cards being submitted. I sat and talked with the represenatative at the Pittsburgh show not very long ago and found him very helpful when it came to price.

They were cool about picking up shipping and insurance when returning the cards as well. Only thing I had to do was give them the cards at the show which saved another shipping charge.
