I guess I'm missing the point here. $1.35 seems to be fair market value for a highly tarnished, and far from mint, Upper Deck company.

Yeah, but that pales in comparison to the money that they lawyers got for the paperwork, and for what they are getting now!


[Note: Not a comment on lawyers, but rather if a company was only worth $1.35, who in their right mind would bothered buying it? Or selling it?]

They're just generating material for the upcoming "copies of UD lawsuit filings" insert set. Konami limited to 1000, Topps limited to 500, UD limited to 250. The first 50 of each will have bits of actual documents, with a special "scales of justice hologram foil" version including cut signatures.
