The E121 80 series Davenport had not, as far as my records go, been verified as of yet. Years ago on a thread our Rhett Y. offered the same thought that an E121-80 of Davenport had not yet been identified. This appears to be a legit card. Once again E121 80 series offers another surprise. Thanks for pointing it out.

Here is a link to a thread 8 years ago about another new E121-80 discovery (Lee Meadows) that was previously unknown.

It always amazes me when new cards are discovered for a known set. Really cool.

I took a whack at the auction But I still don't understand the dating of the E121-80 and the D350-3's. Why would they bother printing a player years after they quit baseball?!? Maybe both the E121 and the D350 and many other similar series started in 1917 and ended in who knows, 1922?

Another same front different back combination.

Also, the O'Leary is rare in both the Koester, which went earlier this week on eBay, and particularly in the E121 set.

Here are two scans :

2 - Dave Davenport on the cover of the Sporting Life, so that I can't be accused of (completely) hijacking this thread...
