Default Speaker Pharoah "T206"

Seller has this listed as an original pre-World War 2 t206 which it obviously is not. It is a nice art card but I'm afraid people are bidding on it thinking it is something that it is not. I messaged the seller and advised him of what he had so let's see if he replies in an angry way it just seems like deception to me

Looks like another Probstein123 consignment. They have an Old Mill Cigarettes sign, that's not originally from the time period, too. Don't they have knowledgeable people to check these things out?

It looks like they have pulled the listing. Maybe they were just unaware. It was already up to 20 something bucks before they pulled it

Whomever listed that for the company might need to brush up on vintage cards a little bit. It is actually kind of funny. To their credit they are selling it as the correct item now.

Not good enough. They are still calling it Pre-WWII, 1909 original. It's got 14 bids on it.

I hadn't read the small print. Yes, I agree. It is not a prewar card and shouldn't be listed that way.

tem specifics
Product: Single Era: Pre-WWII (Pre-1942)
Year: 1909 Original/Reprint: Original

I think it's an authentic t206 albeit with a newly discovered back

I would not doubt there might be one out there (like the Ty Cobb with the Ty Cobb back), but this ain't one of 'em.
