Take the $$ from the set and bid on another card in the auction. Just stay under budget and use that as trade. Just a suggestion.

I agree. No reason to stop there. After all, trading cards for money is still trading

Sold it at Heritage and took a minor bath.

Still I turned the Walter Johnson into $950 once I get paid next month. Then on to the Mantle.

You made 55.00 off the set. I don't really see that as a bath. Heritage just ended up with nost of the profit from the sale.

Should of tried a direct deal more and not give 20 percent to the AH i guess.
