Default case look tampered

Won this card last night and just wanted to get people's opinions on whether or not this case looks like it's been tampered with

I do not see any frosting or other indications that this case has been tampered with.

Forget the case, does the card look genuine and accurately graded?
Its what's in the slab that's important

I've always loved the t206 Cobb so when I saw this one it was hard to pass up. Displays very well for the grade

Dave...thanks for the correction...give the people what they want was one of my first albums...it's funny how you go through life singing the wrong lyrics!!!

AND I LOVE HOW MY RESPONSES IN ALL CAPS ARE CONVERTED TO LOWER CASE!!

slab = good

Don't know what would have tripped an alarm but it's good.

With people body surfing at a Kinks show, I'll bet the brothers Davies weren't exactly excited by their audience that day, either

Yes, and I'll bet they intentionallygave you the complete Muswell Hillbillies with, "Acute Schizophrenia Paranoia Blues", rather than "Lola".

Edited: Oh, and Joey, the holder looks fine to me too. And I'm hardly an expert on these matters. However, when it comes to body surfing, uh, I spent my Wonder Bread years on the beaches of Orange County (that's SoCal, not NJ).

You might be in luck, Ray Davies was interviewed at KZOK in Seattle October 2013 while he promoted his new book: "Americana..." by Ray Davies. In the interview he hinted at a reunion tour. He's still rocking, saw Ray at the Emerald Queen Casino in Puyallup (July 2012?).

Sorry for hijacking the thread, case looks good, card looks great...

Fraudsters are getting a lot craftier. Who would have expected them to crack out a "2" and replace it with another nice looking "2".

I knew I remembered this card, I inquired about it on Kijiji but the price was too high in my opinion. Mind me asking what you paid for it?
