Default Near complete T206 set (PICS)

Had the unique opportunity this past weekend to spend some time with a near complete set of T206's. These belong to a longtime collector (not on this forum) who told me he hadn't added a new card in maybe 25 years. Looks like he's missing Wagner, Plank, Mathewson, and only a handful of others :

Very cool. It looks like they're mostly in decent condition too. Are they taped in the album?

Great collection! Dumb question but what storage sheets are they?Seeing that I'm tempted to free my quickly growing collection of T210's from their plastic coffins!

It's posts like this one, with these awesome pics and raw cards that made start a low grade set, alphabetically, in plastic sheets last month !!!!!! Already at 50 cards.

The cards are all "tipped" in using old photo mounts, a quite common way to present them back in the day. It will sometimes leave a toned mark on the back of cards, if the photo mounts are paper, these appear to be clear on the front.

Most all of the old collections will be presented by team and not alphabetical. Just the way they portrayed them to be collected and assembled.

If I understand the OP correctly, here is another 500 raw cards that "nobody" knew existed. I bet there are 1,000 more collections like this.

Would be cool if there was at least one common he was missing that someone could send to him. 25 years is a long time to add a card.

Gorgeous signed Sno. Would love more info on how the sig was obtained, and whether there are any more signed cards in the collection.

Great stuff!!

This collector also has about 80 different Hassan Triple Folders that I didn't get pics of. Quite an impressive collection.

Default Beautiful Raw Set

That T206 album is awesome................and the cards are in phenomenal shape. IMO.

I am putting together a raw set but it looks nothing like that !!!!! I love the way the cards look in the pages. I use the 15 card pages.

Same here; using 15 pocket pages. The more cards I get, the better it presents when they are sorted by team, gives me motivation to buy more cards!

Default I would be interested in the card backs

as I've become aware of two sets now up for sale that were put together in the early 70s that had multiple cards with Howe's stamp on the back, letting me know he had let the collection go before his death in 1976.
