Default 1933 Goudey Wrapper Redemptions?

I'm curious about which cards were used for the 1933 Goudey wrapper redemptions, both the regular and Sport Kings issue. Attached are the wrappers.

The regular Goudey Wrapper seems to say return # of wrappers and receive a 5-1/2 x 9" Babe Ruth in action photograpth with a colorful border. The Sport Kings wrapper has that same offer for a Ruth of the same size, but also with other player cards available. Does anyone know which cards these are?

The 1933 Goudey R309-1 seems to fit the Ruth description in some ways. According to this ebay link Link, these premiums are 5-1/2 x 9" and have a colorful border. However, none of the other cards in the set fit in with what is offered by the Sport Kings wrapper. Any ideas?

OK, I found a thread Thread. I guess it looks like R309-1 is the 1933 Goudey wrapper redemption, and then R340 is the Sports King wrapper redemption.

Yes, it looks like the R340 is for the sports kings...i have these two...it looks like the green bordered one may be a proof or a prototype

maybe Goudey used the R309 Ruth for the R340 SportKings also? too lazy to make separate ones? If they are different, there has to be a way to tell them apart, right?
My two Sportkings one are darn near identical sizewise....Ruth one has blue stamp on back tho..

The 2 cards below are from a thread I started in January after noticing the Weissmuller in a 1991 Auction catalog. Adam W. From this board posted his Dempsey. For many years no confirmed examples of Sportsking premiums were known. So they are among the rarest premiums. It would make sense that the Ruth is the same as a R309-1. Because of all the offered premiums it makes sense Ruth was the popular choice. I know that a number of Ruth premiums have the original mailing envelope. Maybe a postmark could provide more clarity.

Paul First Thank you for sharing your cards. I do know that a number of Ruth R309's have original envelopes. So my thought was if we could get some postmark dates from the Ruth envelopes And find one with a 1935 date then it could be said with certainty that the same card was used for both sets.
Great thread for a guy like me who has always loved all the candy and Gum cards from the 1930's ( R300's ). And the Sports Kings Premiums are among the least understood and rarest of all pre war cards.

Nice. It will be interesting to see them in auction. Good luck!

Here is a team R309-1 I added recently. Nothing "Ruth" is cheap anymore!
