Default Upcoming vintage auction

Posted By: ephuspitch

Just got the flyer for Barry Sloate's vintage card & memorabilia auction.

Most interesting might be the one of a kind Gypsy Queen discovery card, but the earliest known team set of CdVs (1867 Troy Haymakers) looks beautiful too.

The high grade tobacco cards look great too, including the rarities, but the big grab-bag lots might be the affordable stuff.

The memorabilia stuff is interesting looking, but isn't really my bag.

Should be fun. Looks like one to watch. If anybody here wins any of these items, I'd love to hear about it on this board.

I am not familiar with this auction. Does Sloate have a web site and can one bid on line?

As far as I know, there is no on-line element. I think it's just a phone auction, stemming from the flyer and the add in SCD. Closing date, 11/29.
