Default Ticket on Ebay

How does PSA grade this as a St Louis Browns Ticket???

Nowhere on the front or back of the ticket itself does anything say St Louis Browns or is there an identifiable presidents signature.

And if you refer to the baseball reference game it says game time 3pm, and the ticket says "night", 3pm isnt a night game.

Now it may possibly what it says it is, but I wonder how they graded it as such, as I sure wouldn't want this as what it says it is, could have been another event there that happened at night, especially if the game was a day game.

Default and from the same seller

what the hell is "1st game without Jackie Robinson"

http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-16-1957-BR...oAAOSwpLNX9Th9

The Dodgers? They played many games in their history without Jackie Robinson.

I can't believe what PSA allows, they just let this person dictate what they want on it, almost as if they might have a friend in the ticket dept.....hmmmmmm.

I remember when this seller had them put on it

"Lou Gehrig out with ALS" on some of his 1939 stubs, which that was just wrong.

Hi Paul,
Knowing what St. Louis Browns ticket stock looks like from this era, I am 100% certain of the fact that this is a 1952 St. Louis Browns ticket, FWIW.

Quit with the facts. "Stories" are more interesting....

But how do explain the 3pm start? and it saying Night on the ticket. Negro League teams played there too, could they have had the Night game there that day?

I know 100% is hard to argue with, but I'm trying to get you to 99%.

"Time of game" at Baseball-Reference refers to the length of the game, not the time that it started.

Ah, good to know.

Yah I know it's probably 99.9% a ticket from that game as the guy who submitted it is extremely knowledgeable about tickets as well, but I just wonder if I submitted that to PSA would they have graded it or rejected it.

Pays to have friends over there.

This one too

http://www.ebay.com/itm/8-11-1973-Ya...sAAOSw8w1X9OzN

Mantle home run in an old timers game is NOT home run 537.

He had 536. Who knows how many old timers games he played, and stats don't count for those.
