Default Help! Need info on 1934 German Olympics Tobacoo cards

I have 27 1934 German Olympic tobacoo cards, that i dnt really know of. I dnt know anything about them. If someone can help me out with them id appreicate it. I just want to know some knowledge about them. Also if there worth anything. Not really trying to sell just want to see what im working with.

This could be real valuable as the Oylmpics in Germany weren't held until 1936!

In all seriousness there are myriads of very nice German photo card albums put out with people from many sports and political fame but they are not all that valuable as a large number have survived.

They are in german. There black and the bottoms actually says 1936 berlin there olympic tobaccoo cards. I see hitler in the middle of the one card. Also a few nazi symbols on few cards. How can i put pics on here?? Im new need alilttle help. Lol sorry.

The bottom of the cards say, cigarettenfabrik, Muratti Aktiengesellschaft Berlin. Olympiade 1936, Berlin.

Sounds like the Muratti Ruth? card shown here, about 3 from the top in the first column on the far left (as you look at the screen)...He's with the chick in a bathing suit and he has his hands in his pocket.......LL

Does anyone know there value? There in great condition! Im not looking to sell them, i just want to gain some knowledge about them. Also want to make sure i know what i am talking bout to my other firends. Lol

Default German cards

Unlike British sets (9500 different sets), the Germans made sets with 2000 cards to a set. I've seen German sets sell for $400-500 in albums, and they're a lot of the sets floating around. Even the Hitler sets sell for the same price.
