Default Love the clarity on some early 1900s baseball RPPCs.....

Going through stuff and trying to get organized I found this generic real photo postcard and just stared at it for a while. When this kind of postcard has great clarity, and lots of stuff going on, it really can be mesmerizing. (to me anyway.)

Neat old picture. Tried to reconcile it with the modern Google Map view but didn't have any luck. Did find this account of growing up in Yatesboro written by a woman born there in 1927. There are a couple of references to the Valley Hotel and to the ballfield. Not a whole lot to hang your hat on but not uninteresting either. Link

Here is a picture right side of the area pre ball field I think on st Mary's church website. I think it might have something to do with that church which was maybe rebuilt?
