Love the E95 Cobb, T205 Cobb and the 1908 Sporting Life Joe Jackson and kicking myself for not making a run at that one. Those come two ways which are with and without punch holes on the side.

Made my last bids at 145am EST as sleep kicked in. I was close to winning the Big boy gallery below (and well played who out lasted me on the Gehrig) and won the other gallery which I’m happy to get. I out lasted another currency collector for the 1889 Chicago note, as my my OCD kept kicking in. The lot I’m most looking to get in is the foldout postcard which has a great Honus Wagner postcard inside which wasn’t shown on the listing. Knowledge is good on certain items

That is, indeed, a big boy group! The WaJo is an amazing artifact!

That was me you outlasted. Not a currency collector, just a Cubs collector. I've been the underbidder on one of those about 10 times.

Thank you all, I was pretty excited to get it. As a Cobb collector, the unusual and rare stuff doesn’t come around all that often.

Old or new cert seemingly unimportant. Beautiful front but obvious paperloss one the back? Ouch. 24,000. and then some. Getting harder and harder for me to get that last card......

It is getting repetitious but calvindog won the best item in the auction.

Beautiful pick up Jeff! That may be my favorite pose of Cobb on a card and happy it ended up in your collection

I have always liked the Cobb T206 bat on the most out of his four T206 cards, because it does the best of the four cards in capturing the intense competitive drive in his facial expression. But when it comes to depicting this intensity the JKA cabinet tops it...a great photo with a classic batting pose, and an interesting stadium/fan background. Just an all around awesome card.

Brian (T206 card obviously not mine...just showing to aid in comparison)
