Default So what do you guys think ?? Ink missing/added, eraser ????

Just picked this up this morning. I liked the colors as they're pretty good. Though part of the grass almost makes it look like a pond in the middle of the field. The green is blue.

Is this a printing error ? Added ink, no ink ? Eraser ?

Josh,

You need to put the card directly on one of these.

I take it there are no visible abrasions. The most interesting area is near his knee. If that color matches near the glove exactly it would tell me that it wasn't a result of altering.

The blue leads me to believe the yellow didn't print on that part of the card. I wouldn't think exposure to chemicals or sunlight would make the green field turn blue. It's a cool card. I sold a similar card on ebay last week:

Altering and missed ink. I would rather it be missed ink. Not sure why someone would alter a common especially on where the edges aren't in good shape and with a common back.

Either way I'll end up having it graded I guess then we'll see if it is in fact altered. I don't believe that they throw "missing ink" on slabs. But I could be wrong. I will probably be PSA graded as well maybe it's a color pencil lol MK.

I've seen PSA list a card as "missing ink" on the slab, but I think it was a rare case. I've asked for them to designate missing ink, and they wouldn't do it.

Looks like some ink is missing. IN this one on ebay you can almost see blue under the green. Still a neat little card but might not be to much added value for the bit of missing ink.

Josh,

They vary quite a bit, yours is on the extreme end and might be missing some yellow.

Thanks Patrick !!! Nice, cheap pick-up. The only card I've ever owned with missing ink. Kind of cool to have one now !

He seems to be a bit too distracted to field that ground ball. Better be careful or he might hurt himself.
