Default What issue are these cards?

I don't have a lot of experience with these black and white e121 style of cards.

What's the proper designation for these three?

Thanks.

The cards are from the W575-1 strip set. There is a collector on this board that would be very interested in the one with the Henry Johnson back stamp--it is his speciality.

For additional info, you might read thru this page from Frank Ward's site:

http://centuryoldcards.com/1920/1921E121.html

He says "The Henry A. Johnson Wholesale Confectioner Co. was located in Alameda CA and are usually found in Northern California. These cards are considered Rare and have the advertising stamped in purple ink on the back of blank back W575-1A cards."

Hey there:

That's me who collects the Henry Johnson backs.

At least I HOPE that's me; I think I'm the only guy stupid enough to be trying to assemble an entire set.

I do need a Maranville, so Rob, if you're interested in parting with that one, I'm a willing buyer/trader.

(Sorry for the solicitation, but it's a compulsion of mine).

Hey Al,

Wrong board! Your post belongs on the P/B/C (Pleading/Begging/Cajoling board! We do have one of those? Right?)

Thanks, Leon.

That's one of the good things about this board. I feel the same way about Ed McCollum, when I see those Howe McCormick stamps on the backs of the T206s.

When this thread went up, I got two emails from other people, alerting me to it, before I saw it myself. That's way cool, and much appreciated.
