Default CHI-FEDS Federal League Pennant

7 1/2 x 9, partially hand tinted vintage photograph showing Chi-Feds pennants.....

the one on the wall (hanging alongside a BOWDOIN pennant at its right and a photograph of a baseball player at its left) is fantastic - would love to see an actual full color sample of either CHI-FEDS pennant - versus the B&W or hand tinted versions as shown in the photograph - the one on the wall in particular.

Default 07' National Chi Feds

Very nice photo..unusual...What's the who what where?
I saw this Chi-Feds piece at the 07' National in the booth of John Ross
http://www.sportsantiques.com/2007NA...FedsPoster.jpg

...Next John had an unusual item that may have been a page from a large clothing trade catalog. It promoted the Chicago Whales, also called the Chi-Feds. It appeared to have been printed on heavy cardstock, 22" tall x 16" wide, $1,750.00. Next up...

Great photos! I love the Fed Lge stuff. They had terrific names too. Though, I'd always thought the Chicago mascot was just a pun, until;

For some reason this paticular pennant has legs and has been resold a couple times by Legendary and more recently a couple times by Mears.

Unusual for a Bowdoin College pennent to be hanging with those. I would like to find one of those.

Default Wow...

GREAT Chi-Feds stuff - thanks to all for posting.....I have only a few Federal League items in my collection, so it's always great to see what's out there.

and thank you, Joe, for posting the image of the Tinker pennant - it's a winner!

This very penant hung in my father's basement for MANY years until he sold his entire collection to Mastro approx. 4 years ago (?). Nice to see it again after seeing it so many times before. He had Federal League scorecards and more stuff than I can even remember. By the way, don't bother, it's all gone now and he's retired with a nice chunck of change.

Congrats! Looks great up there with the blankets. If I'm not mistaken, he had it thumbtacked to the wall downstairs (good to see it framed and protected)!
