Default D304 - great set

First I bought the Wagner, because I needed a D304 Wagner. Then I bought the Cobb bc I needed a D304 Cobb and it had a General Baking back. Then I bought the Young bc it had a Butter Krust back, and the Bender bc it was a Weber Bakery. Then I decided, heck, I have come this far, let’s go for the set.

I really think this set is very cool and I love the back variations. Here are my D304s. Let’s see’em if you got’em....

I have these two as part of my Hal Chase collection. I lost out on a General Baking back in an auction a few months ago. Still pissed, lol

I agree, great little set with some really cool images. I've always like O'Toole, Barry, and of course, Cobb. I think this is the only one I have at the moment...picked up in the 1st LOTG auction.

Such a cool little set. A couple of the team variations are really difficult.

My only one. Not that the others in the set aren't great cards, but the Cobb looks quite different from the rest on my opinion. Almost like it was designed to be part of a different set. It's my favorite Cobb image of any card I've seen.

That is very cool indeed. I wonder if that was common back then.

Terrific cards! I'm so jealous of that Bender.

Most, not all, Martin’s have those three stars stamped on the back. I am not sure why, but a redemption stamp sounds logical

thanks for the thread, This IS a cool set. love the artwork and that Cobb pose is classic - one of my favorite Cobb cards.

Wasn't he on the net54 tee-shirt a while back?

I don't think I've seen Meyers in this thread. He is my only D304
